2003 Grants. 5 grants totaling $4,302.48 were awarded to homes listed on the National Registry for Historic Preservation. 2005/2006 Pocket Guide to Historic Red Cloud published 2006 45 sites were added to the Red Cloud Historic Preservation local registry. 2007 5 grants totaling $4000.00 were awarded to homes listed on the local Historic Registry for Historic Preservation 2008 5 grants totaling $4000.00 were awarded to homes listed on the local Historic Registry for Historic Preservation 2009 5 grants totaling $4000.00 were awarded to properties listed on the local Historic Registry for Historic Preservation
In 2009 the Red Cloud Historic Preservation Commission received a Certified Local Government (CLG) grant to reproduce 2 publications: Red Cloud Main Street Guidelines and Red Cloud Residential Guidelines. These were distributed in person or by mail to each property owner in all of the Historic Districts in Red Cloud and each individual property listed individually as an historic site.
